I spent thousands of dollars there over a couple years, and it remains my favorite hardware and supply store I’ve ever been to. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the lumber quality is top notch (and they can source just about anything), they have high quality tools (best utility knife I’ve ever owned is from there- brand I’d never heard of), and the candy bars are sold with no markup. I go to GBS almost daily for my carpentry business, and i highly recommend the people and products there. Staff are highly knowledgable about construction materials and techniques, which makes working with them smooth and truly pleasant. They have an excepcional commitment to customer satisfaction, and will patiently work with me on every detail of a project large and small. They have the best lumber yard on the mendonoma coast. Can’t recommend these folks enough, and i couldn’t run my business nearly as well without them
