Negative experience with staff
GTI is a reliable and hardworking group of people that have pride in their work. Tom and Ray are two real American guys who have stood up to the insanity of 2020 to keep customers equipment running with no excuses. We work with GTI as a vendor and sometimes a client. They tested a air bearing spindle from a 1972 semiconductor dicing machine for me when nobody else wanted to touch it. If you want high tech rotary equipment analytics, monitoring, or spindle rebuilds, this is the place to call.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with GTI. The rebuilt spindle they supplied us went again within 3 months of installation. They blamed the "installer" (one of the biggest machine tool operation's in Canada) and said they did not install it properly therefore, they would not honor the warranty. Not much else I can say.
