The tailgate strut kit itself appears to be well made, but the instructions and customer support let the product down badly. The instructions are printed on glossy A4 paper using a black Mitsubishi Triton as the example vehicle. Because everything is black, it's extremely difficult to see where certain parts are meant to be installed. Bought the tailgate seal for the next gen ranger. Doesn't seal with two separate places which have decent gaps. It would be an easy fix for them to modify the large foam seal to extend up higher inside the tail gate and go lower on the bottom edge, but it's a waste of money in my opinion. It also makes the tailgate hard to close without slamming. I'm off to bunnings to get more rubber to finish the job grunt couldn't and to modify the peices they supplied so it is fit for purpose. Purchased the GRUNT 4X4 TAILGATE SEAL KIT FOR MAZDA BT-50 2020-2026 GTG-BT502, installed correctly following all steps and I could not close my tailgate after. Vehicle is stock with no aftermarket products that could interfere with this kit.
Fantastic tailgate strut way better than I thought. Tough strong and look great
