Grunke left my son in extrememe pain post procedure and lied about his options for pain relief. LIe #1. Later that day my son had an asthma attack and was taken to the ER . Grunke blamed the anesthesia. Lie #2. The next day the nurses told us that there was no room in the procedure for me to sit with him, there were two open chairs. Lie#3. Claimed pain was due to tube. Day five of pain and inability to swallow, new doc removed excess tissue from surgery. Pain gone. Lie#4. STAY FAR AWAY!!
Dr. Richard J. Grunke, MD correctly assessed my daughters need. However, he did not take appropriate steps during the surgery to remove the problem, he sent the wrong sample for pathology testing and dropped her case soon after. It was a very disappointed and frustrating experience. His reception staff was also very rude and condescending. My daughter was left with fluid draining out of the front of her neck every time she ate. He canceled her appointments and said he couldn’t help her.
