My family came here for brunch because of all the great reviews, so we were excited to try it. Unfortunately, our experience was pretty disappointing. The hostess wasn’t very friendly or welcoming when we walked in. She explained we needed to order before being seated which was new for me, at least for a sit down cafe. I ordered the corned beef hash with potatoes since it's one of my favorite dishes. Sadly, it tasted like canned mush, the flavor and texture were both off, and I couldn't finish it. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots when I visit Annapolis.
I had an amazing experience at Grumps! I ordered the burger and fries, and both were delicious. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. The service really made the visit even better—our waiter, Ever, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Great food, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Grumps to anyone looking for a great burger!
