I can’t recommend delivering here as a first time mom. I have heard good things for second and third babies but many elements of my experience before, during, and after birth were unsafe. My little one decided to come out backwards and my plans for having my baby in the birth center went out the window! but i was fourtunatly given the option to have a homebirth, and with the amazingly competent team of midwives Maggie, Debbie and Liz I felt secure in my choice to have a breach birth at home. Mrs. Debbie is a remarkable midwife. She is well skilled in pregnancy birth, breastfeeding, postpartum care, and empoweing women. I birthed my third son at the freestanding birthcenter. The wisdom and care I received had a positive effect on my healing after birth. A safe space. I am grateful for a gentle birth to welcome third and last baby boy!!!
We just had our second baby at Growing Family a few weeks ago, after delivering our first baby there two years ago. The midwives are well-educated and experienced, and are simply wonderful to work with- they genuinely care about your health, comfort, and education around all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
