took three kids through expanders first, and later braces when they were old enough. orthodontic treatment turned out beautifully. very detail oriented, sees kids personally every visit, keeps parents informed throughout.
I had braces with Dr. Groves. He's nice, quiet, soft spoken, smart, gentle and compassionate. His orthodontic assistants are super sweet, bubbly and personable. His office wasn't the biggest office in the area. Biggest is not always the best. It's kind of like a fast food chain vs a local family owned restaurant. I'm glad Dr. Groves was my orthodontist. I smile a lot because thanks to him, my smile looks great now!
I am a college student and I got braces with Dr. Groves in in high school. The braces straightened my teeth successfully. I came back in when I was visiting home to get a new retainer, and he was a bit overzealous in straightening my teeth just a little bit more. He ended up selling me a new retainer, and finally after a few months, he put my permanent retainer back on and took away my old clear retainer. It messed up my bite, and I was having jaw pain. My kids don't like the dentist, but the results with Ron Groves have been good. His staff is very accomodating and cordial. We've recently started orthodontic evaluations for my oldest, and the prices are much higher than I anticipated.
