Stood us up on a quote- waited 45 minutes then called them and he says we must be running late. So I tell him not to bother and he hangs up on me. Very unprofessional!

BEWARE check out Wisconsin Circuit Court Access. On Dec 29th, 2008 Mr. Grover demanded a $1,000 down payment from me "as is required by my local supplier" for upper and lower kitchen cabinet lighting. The supplier never requested a down payment (per a note submitted to the court) and Mr. Grover immediately used this money for his child support. I originally called Grover Electric when I had a power outage at 11PM and they were the only one who answered their phone. They came over right away and fixed the problem in 45 minutes. For a service call that late at night I was expecting a high bill, but it was a lot less than I expected and very reasonable. I was very happy with how prompt and courteous the two men were that came over so I called them a few months later to install some new ceiling fans and light fixtures. multiple problems!!! over pricing, leaves work area dirty, took out an electrical permit with City of Oshkosh for thousands of dollars less than his proposal, used customer money to make child support payment on December 29, 2008, has not made restitution for small claims, double billed customer, billed for work never attempted nor completed, when confronted with issues this electrician accused the customer of improper touching. Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION ! PROS: 0 CONS: fraud, deception, irresponsible, adept at lying

This contractor was hired by a local general contractor for electrical work in my home. Instead of billing the GC he billed me directly demanding on the spot payment. Of course he waited until the walls were ripped apart and the electricity was disconnected. WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! – Installed faulty wiring and switches that don't turn anything on. Left me with a big mess to clean up. Extremely overpriced for the poor quality of work and skill. Was very slow to complete job, demanding payment up front not according to terms of his "contract". Consumer Protection has complaints on file.

CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION DONT HIRE GROVER ELECTRIC – Claims to be a Christian but this Electrician took a $1000 payment stating it was a deposit required by an independent supplier, and used it to pay his child support. The reason? He wanted to claim his children as dependents therefore he needed to make 2 payments in Dec 2008 to show the court in Jan 2009 that he was not in arrears.
