After being in hospita, very nearly dying, I was told to see a doctor immediately upon return to England. The receptionist simply said that I'm not on the system. (Obviously, as Greece isn't part of the NHS!) Therefore I can't have an appointment. I phoned the hospital who gave me an appointment with a doctor within 2 hours, as my condition was really serious! The receptionist job here should be taken over by AI, as although it's artificial, it has intelligence.
Dangerous practice, avoid! Takes months for anyone to pick up a call. Urgent referrals ignored for 6 months. Rude staff and a Practice Principle, who choses to ignore and obfuscate all responsibility. Zero proactive healthcare.
Very disappointed. Grove Road Surgery keep sending texts for me to go to a optician with a Viral Eye infection, even though they can't perscribe any antibiotics. So I went to Spec Savers and no further forward afterwards as the Surgery just say fill in forms online & upload pictures which I did again and now they still keep texting a list of opticians in Solihull - Tried calling and they keep saying use the Digital Front Door online which I've done multiple times over 3 weeks!! Very disappointed with the phone operater who was extremely patronizing and rude
Shocking service. It’s as though they are trying to get you to find another doctors. If you phone up to book an appointment you can be in a queue for an hour only to be cut off or told you can’t book an appointment unless you phone at 8am. They wouldn’t let me book in person either. I can’t take time off work to book an appointment as well as to attend one. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment then it’s unlikely to be at your surgery.
