Grout Restoration Works have a great website showing lots of before and after photos of their restoration skills. This helped me with my decision to contact their office. Renee was very friendly, able to accommodate my busy schedule and book my appointment. When Roberto came to my home, I felt that he was very genuine and trustworthy. Horrible company. The agreed to provide a quote to revitalize two washrooms in a rental condo unit that I own. I had to take a day off work and make sure my renters worked from home that day. The guys from Grout Restoration Works never showed up. When I called them, they just said they were sorry and asked if I wanted to reschedule. No accountability whatsoever.
Contacted them for a small job. I had to make an appointment first for an estimate. I took a day off to accommodate their timing. They failed to mention before making the estimate appointment that they have a minimum charge of $660+tax, so all the communications with them, making an appointment, taking a day off to meet with them - all of that was waste of my time as what needs to be done clearly is not worth $660 + tax.
While my neighbors have gone through the pain and expense of replacing their floors, Grout Restoration made my tile floors look like new, which brightened my whole home - foyer, kitchen, washrooms. This is the second time in 9 years I have called on Roberto and his team to refresh my floors and shower stalls, I highly recommend this company.
Bad service. The owner Robert is also the individual who comes to visit the home. Provided this company my correct address, the person comes an hour and a half late to the wrong address, then shows up to my address finally, and says there's no guest parking sorry can't help you. ( I'm in Toronto of course you have to find parking , besides the building guest parking if it's full.) Why promote that you cover GTA if you cannot show up on time within GTA or cover ur parking / find parking, it is a busy city there will always be... read more
