Groups has helped me stay accountable. The group that I am in is very supportive and I have never felt judged. I don't think I would have gotten this far without groups.
The new trainee Monya is ROUGH. Fighting with clients wasting group time, announcing peoples private details to the group, only looking to check boxes and punch out end of day- substance abuse recovery isn’t the line of work for her. Ego problems are rampant enough in the healthcare system. People trying to do their best don’t need that kind of stubborn stupidity knocking them back. If clients’ sobriety aren’t affected by Monya’s attitude it will be a blessing.
I’m leaving one star because when I have issues with my phone on group day I can never reach you guys! How about actually list the office number online. I’ve been asking for years for you guys to put it up. Was on hold for over 8 minutes and then was prompted to press pound for a call back and group is now closed.
My true experience with groups Recover together. I was so scared to reach out for help, but knew I needed it or my life would end,. Everyone around me were dropping like flies in winter. I decided to go there because of one of my my friends that no longer would be around me . She said you go get help at Groups and then we can talk again. Thank God for those words she spoke. I love my counselor, they help you out even if it's not necessarily addiction related. They're so understanding and all the reception ladies are so kind. 100% review. The doctor I have is amazing too, so helpful and kind.
