I was from another area and was based out of this office for a few months, and must say the treatment overall is not appealing at all. If you want to simply get medication for opioid use then this is the place to go as there is no accountability, therefore no treatment, in regards to long-term recovery. People can show up to one group a month and get their entire scripts for that entire month. Groups recover together has been a wonderful group. All of the staff that I have had interactions with all have been amazing the counselors are very helpful they are very considerate and thoughtful. I love "Groups" in augusta maine. My provider dr. Shwink councilor Tracy and office udi person Amber, are so helpful. They treat you like a person instead of a number. And they actually care about you.
I have been coming to groups on and off for the past four and a half years and this is the longest that I've stayed in recovery I have recommended this to a few of my friends and I hope it works as good for them as it has for me I really like the group that I'm in and the staff is always Pleasant and kind and usually very helpful!
