Please help me do this
Before I started groups I was doing every kind of drugs I could get my hands on you name it and I was doing it It was a pretty horrible life if that's what you could call it. So I moved 5 hours away from my home and my brother got me in Groups Recover together now I've been clean for 5 1/2 years. Now I'm in church own a vehicle and about every kind of wood working tools I can think of and the biggest part is I have my brother's and their family in my life. Truly I'd it wasn't for this program I'd been dead at this time
Great people great place
Groups has been a big part of my foundation. Is you don't have a strong foundation to build on the first storm that comes along is liable to tear it all the way down. Meds are only a small part of what I take away from groups. It's given me a community to be apart of a safe space with people like me to share problems, solutions,and most importantly HOPE OF A better future. Groups has encouraged me been supportive of me and gave me a place to contribute as well as receive the blessing of wisdom.
Groups Recover Together is amazing! I've only met one councilor that acted like they didn't want to be there but they are no longer a councilor. Everyone else is great :) My counselor Rich and office manager Lindsey are amazing! (UPDATE) GRT has definitely changed my life for the better. I look forward to my meeting every week. My peers are amazing as well, it's always nice when someone steps up and gives their opinions and or advice. I hardly ever miss a meeting.
