Groups has enabled me to focus on sobriety and my future! My councilor has been there every step of the way with phone calls, texts, a peer group each week.. Groups has helped me more than anything else!
I’ve been a member of the Houlton Groups since last June and I can honestly say they are a great bunch of people who work there . They are so dedicated and they really care like Jackie who facilitates our meetings on Tuesdays went out of her way on her day off to make sure I got my prescription on time. She didn’t have to do that but she did. I’m so blessed to be part of the Houlton Groups. Truly a life saving organization.
Groups has been a great experience for me and the perfect schedule for my needs through out my recovery. Connecting with people who share similar experiences and seeing the same individuals every week is comforting for someone also suffering from anxiety.
I have never before groups been so comfortable being open about my addiction. To be honest I look forward to my weekly meetings, I've been with the same group since I started almost 4 years ago. They are like family, we look out for each other even though we are not all from the same town. I would strongly recommend Groups.
