Simple awful. They literally should not be allowed to do business , especially when handling sensitive issues, regarding money . I cannot express his awful this company is. Completely unresponsive and have zero knowledge of title /judgment searches.
I was a seller, so I did not choose to use this company, but please be aware if you have the option to choose. They held my money in escrow at closing for a final meter reading, then they released my money without my approval, and without telling my attorney, to the Buyer for repairs that the money was not meant for. After Renata admitted the mistake, they still would not give me my money back, so I took them to small claims court and had to settle for what I could get. A lot of bad reviews on here from sellers, but as a 2x buyer, I had a phenomenal experience. I found it incredibly easy to communicate with the team, I felt heard and listened to, and I found the process easy and fluid. I have and will continue to recommend.
As sellers, we didn't have an option to use this company. I was settling on behalf of my parents, usig POAs. I sent Group 21 the POAs prior to settlement. Settlement comes and there's some issues regarding missing names- not a big deal. Funds are dispersed. BUT then, they come back and state they miscalulated the fees for POA recordings because the person working our settlement was new. We had to pay an extra $190 after settlement. Unbelievably terrible service would be a compliment to these guys. I have experience doing many deals with many title companies and I understand mistakes happen, but these guys quite frankly just dont care. First off, the staff took forever to run title (much longer than i have dealt with) which of course prolonged closing.
