Group 1 Assured Hailsham were great because the team were professional and were not pushy salesmen. Jasper had a lot of knowledge of the car and was able to either answer the questions on the spot or find the answer quickly. The presentation of the vehicles was spectacular considering the age and mileage and the warranty package was a really good touch for vehicles with such high mileage. Sam (manager) lacks professionalism. We’ve spoken a few times to try negotiate a deal which did not happen due to the attitude and whether we had agreed or disagreed on the deal is beside the point when you are being talked down. Sam comes across quite immature with a typical sales ego trip. He makes a point about how many years of experience he has with cars in a patronising way to make you feel like you lack knowledge rather than to build trust. Absolutely fantastic service from Taylor at assured hailsham, helped me throughout what was bit of a stressful situation and got me into a fantastic car! Would highly recommend here if you are looking for good service and a good car!
I have just bought my second Mini from Taylor at Group 1 Assured, and I have found both experiences to be excellent. Buying a second-hand car in the UK can be a nerve-racking experience, but I feel completely confident that Taylor and the team at Hailsham go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience and drive away with a car that has been prepared to the highest standard. I'll be back...but hopefully not for another Mini for a while!
FINAL EDIT: Whilst I am yet to hear anymore from the head office team that asked me to reach out, it came to the point where Taylor and colleagues at Group1 A.H (G1AH) asked me to bring the car back so that they could refund me. 1 week after providing them the V5 and the vehicle I am now fully refunded, excluding a £35 admin fee from the third party tyre protection company.
