The massage experiences I love the most are those that transport me out of my head and into my body - it happens consistently during my sessions with Claire. Her technique is fluid and seamless, she applies just the right amount of pressure, pauses to address problem areas, and magically stretches the time. (90-minutes often feels like more!) I feel lucky to have her as part of my care team.
“Refreshing!” That’s how I’d describe my feeling after receiving what is probably one of the best massages I’ve had in my 24 years of life. The attention to detail Claire puts into her massage sessions does not go unnoticed. I mentioned an annoying pain in my right shoulder just before the session started, and she focused on that area with great care. By the end of the massage, the pain was alleviated, and as I’m typing this, my shoulder already feels so much better. She truly has magical hands!
I thoroughly enjoyed my 90 minute session with Claire of Grounded Roots Massage & Bodywork while I was visiting family in Maryland. The space was very calming, comfortable, and well decorated. Claire checked in frequently about pressure which was great, and even played my favorite meditation album which I loved. I don't remember falling asleep, but I remember being gently woken up at the end of my service. 10/10! I wished I lived closer for regular visits.
If I could give Claire 10 stars, I would. I've been receiving regular bodywork from Claire for the last 6 months or so and I look forward to every session and then dream about how delightful it was until I get to see her again. She is intuitive, kind, warm, and very knowledgable. She asks questions before we get started to make sure she is addressing my needs. I feel very catered to and cared for during my sessions. Claire has magic hands! One of my friends recommended her to me over a year ago, and she’s been my go to masseuse since my first appointment. Her scheduling is easy to navigate; the space is quiet and relaxing; and she genuinely cares about making your experience the best it can be and your overall wellbeing. I cannot recommend her enough!
