Great place you can learn a lot
Went to Ground Control for a special women's self-defense class hosted by Be Loud, a local non-profit dedicated to SA awareness and prevention. Erin, Elena, and Dana were all wonderful and went out of their way to help everyone feel comfortable. As someone who tries to avoid crowds in general, I was very hesitant coming into the class, but I walked away with very practical techniques.
I found the facility to be clean and spacious, the coaches to be nice and knowledgeable, and the participating families to be nice and welcoming. Their biggest downfall seems to be their administrative person Dana or Diane, I'm not completely sure of her name. She should learn how to talk to people, because obviously she does not know how to do that...
