One of my favorite lunch spots in downtown Greenville! I love this location of Groucho's. Staff is always friendly and the food is always good. The only suggestion I would have is to keep Sweet-N-Low in stock for diabetic customers who cannot drink sweet tea. That would mean a lot!
We actually wanted to go to Windy City Burger , but that place was packed, no where to sit and it smelled like food was burnt. So we went to Groucho's instead. We are glad we did! The sandwiches were delicious. I had the Apollo. My wife had the White Moose on gluten free bread, as she has an allergy to wheat. Gluten free bread is usually not good, but this was very good she said. Our server was very friendly.
The deli club sandwich was pretty good, but kind of dry. The service was ok she never smiled. We sat for awhile waiting for a check, we asked for a bill she said pay up front tell them the table #. How we should have known the table # I'm not sure ( nothing on the table). When I went to pay I saw they charged me for a cup of water. Since when is water in a restaurant not free???
