Mechanics at Groton Tire and Auto do not perform adequate troubleshooting. My check engine light was diagnosed. Told me I needed an upstream O2 sensor, $362 paid. Light came back on. Told me I needed rear o2 sensor, $247 paid. Light came back on. Mechanic showed me on his analyzer that it was the computer all along. At that point I asked him if he could check the connector at the computer (ECM) to see if there was any corrosion. Being a woman I’ve been lied too before by car shops because they assume I don’t know anything about cars (which I don’t) but this place is AWESOME. They are honest and friendly and the price is even better!
Needed to get a tire plugged after running over a screw. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, no wait at all. They were very helpful, professional and knowledge. My wife and I will be going back to put our snow tires on in November.
