I was supposed have a “screening” 10 year colonoscopy not “diagnostic”. I was told it would be zero deductible and zero copayment because it was a “screening” colonoscopy. My doctor’s office has told me they put it in as “screening” but Grossmont Surgery Center keeps billing me $471 and somehow changed it to a diagnostic colonoscopy. When I called Grossmont Surgery Center’s office their person hung up on me. I have called many times and this still is not cleared up. How many people are they screwing out of $471?
