Haleen Jolly at Coastal Skin and Eye Institute I have been going to for years and she’s wonderful! How many questions and she helped me with all of them and I’m just so grateful because some of them were very complicated. I definitely would recommend her if you need to see a dermatologist near La Mesa.
The nurse practitioner I saw had me get blood work to help determine my skin condition. I had the labs done over 3 weeks ago and never got a call about the results. I called this week to speak to the nurse for the results on Monday, Tuesday and again on Wednesday all around 10 am and was told they would send a message to call me. Today is Friday and I still have not gotten a call back. I would give them less than a one star if I could and will be looking for another office who wants their patients. Ann
Helene Jolly was very informative and pleasant. Excellent bedside manner and the appointment was pain free. Grateful for her care and concern for my health as a patient.
I saw Dr. Shinto Lin today for the second time. I think she is wonderful, but I will not be going back. After telling her medical assistant that I did not want to fill my prescription at CVS because it is too far away, she went ahead and ordered it from CVS. When I called to see if the prescription could be ordered from where I asked her to, I was put on "a brief hold" 2 times, which lasted over 10 minutes. When someone finally picked up, she said she was helping check in patients and was alone, I cancelled my appointment.
