Mark did a spectacular job with our CoMotion Speedster tandem. We sent him the stripped frame and he removed the existing paint, fixed a couple of small dings, and re-coated with Prismatic Powders Illusion Cherry followed by new decals and topcoat. Great work, great communication, great service, great outcome! This is the second bike we've asked Groody to re-coat and all the work has been top notch.

Mark did a fantastic job on my son’s bike. Very easy to communicate with and was able to coordinate drop off in KC easily. Highly recommend!!

Mark did a great job powder coating my 1992 Trek 700. It used to be white and rusty! I traveled from Iowa to have my bike done here (though shipping is available, I have family in the KC area). We chatted about colors while he took my bike apart. Settled on a color changing paint, which requires a black base coat and then the color changing one over top. Photos don't do this bike justice. I sent my 1989 Bianchi Superleggera frame to Mark at Groody Brothers to breathe some new life into a restoration I want to do. Their passion and enthusiasm show through in their work. When I sent them this frame, it was pitted, had a small dent in the top tube, was missing paint, and had a host of other issues. Today, upon receiving it, it looks as good as it must have in 1989 (or even better)! When I unwrapped the bike, I must have sat and stared at it for 30 minutes. The frame and fork ar... read more

Talk about great service! Living in a KC suburb an hour away from Topeka, I wasn't sure how I'd get my frame to Groody Bros, but Mark made that easy and picked up and dropped off at my house. Not sure if that's the case for others, but it sure worked out nice for me. The cold set to convert my frame from 125mm to 130mm was spot on. My classic Mercian Pro can now run the 10spd parts from my deceased Trek 5500. Powder coating is their specialty, but steel frame work is also in their skill set. Very pleased!
