I initially scheduled with him but never saw him in my visits during pregnancy. Then when I insisted on scheduling with him, his office was reluctant, but gave in to him being a part of my scheduled csection. One of the the most regrets I have in my life is asking him to be my ob doc. I am a bit torn because I loved Dr. Grondahl as an OB patient. Now that I am a GYN patient, I do not feel the same patience. He is still very warm and pleasant, but moves in and out very quickly and I have not been able to many questions answered. He is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff, but what's the point if I can't ask my questions. I leave a little disappointed because I still have a lot on my mind when I leave. He will stay for about 2 questions and then is out of the door.

I wanted to like this doctor. He was recommended by my sister. The real problem was when he brought up Tubal Ligation. I was for it, (after this baby makes it's entrance), but he told me he refused to do this procedure 'without the baby's fathers permission'. I argued, "MY body, MY choice.", but he persisted in telling me the decision is that of whoever knocked me up. Unconstitutional. Misogynistic. Archaic. And completely unacceptable. I CANNOT recommend this 'doctor'. My husband agrees.

I can not say enough about Dr. Grondahl! I am high-risk in my pregnancies, so home births are totally out of the question. Dr. Grondahl is the next best thing! Very supportive of birth plans, natural child birth, C-section as a last option. His quick thinking helped me avoid an emergency c-section. I am forever grateful! My husband and I both were so smitten with how great a doctor and how caring he is! The other doctors in the practice are wonderful as well!

I worked very closely with Dr. Grondahl as I had gestational diabetes and was closely monitored. Dr. Grondahl answered all of my questions and listened to all of my concerns, he even read over my birth plan throughly and addressed what things on it may or may not happen. When I had to have a c-section I was nervous, but not scared as I had complete faith in Dr. Grondahl! I wish he could be my doctor for everything not just my OBGYN!! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a great doctor!

I wish there were more Dr. Grondahls out there: knowledgeable, professional, discrete, compassionate, respectful, very very kind, with an abundance of passion for his profession and the patients he treats, I honestly couldn't ask for a better doctor/OB. Dr. Grondahl wasn't mistaken when he chose his profession; he has been gifted a talent and he uses it right. I cannot say a bigger THANKS to you. I hope to keep having you as my OB for many many years to come. God bless you and your family.
