I highly recommend Dr. Grohowski. He is thorough, calm, and not an alarmist, taking time to fully understand your situation. His recommendations are sensible—he does not push unnecessary procedures or medications. Most importantly, he listens carefully and ensures you feel heard and respected. He combines expertise and genuinely patient-centered care. He treats both my husband and I, and we feel lucky to have Dr. Grohowski as our cardiologist.
Dr. Grohowski is very personable. However, he told my husband that his aortic valve went from moderate to severe, which wasn't correct, according to the doctor that did protesting. Because he was in good condition health wise for a 79 year old, he decided to go through with the valve replacement. Things went wrong with the surgery, was readmitted to the hospital twice after.
