My advice to anyone seeking a divorce in Columbus,GA is to go far away from Columbus, GA to get your attorney and your divorce. Unethical, unfair, unjust. My divorce involved serious issues, but they were ignored in order to entertain a circus-like display of fabricated, false information/witnesses perpetrated by Lynn Grogan. A lawyer friend of mine recommended the Grogans, he has known Lee Grogan's father (also a lawyer BTW) for several years. I actually read some of the reviews and assumed that some disgruntled former clients were trying to trash them. Bottom line is I trusted my friend and and paid over $3500 for a retainer. They burned through that amount in less than 3 weeks (I kid you not) with nothing to show for the price paid. How do I know you ask? Do NOT use Lynn Grogan – I am a single working mom of a teenager. It took me a long time to save the $500 retainer fee I paid Lynn Grogan to file contempt charges. She told me that my ex should be served within 1-2 weeks. After 5 weeks-nothing had been done and LG would not return my calls. I decided I needed to get another attorney and I called LG's office and asked for my money back. After first making sure that she got the $150.00 for a "consultation on our credit card, Lynn Grogan did little to help me with a problem that I needed a lawyer for in GA. Don't waste your money on her consultations. She was rude and apparently loved to hear herself speak and interupted my mother and I several times while we tried to ask questions. Wish i had seen the other reviews before I called her at all.
Did what I needed them to do – Hired Mr. Grogran to file a contempt case against my ex for unpaid child support and medical bills. He spent alot of time on the phone with me familiarizing himself with my case, and history (he was not my original atty) and even brought up concerns I had not considered (like where the ex was getting his income from.) Dishonest, Unethical, THEY HURT CHILDREN – Lynn Grogan recommended that I keep my children from their father so that Judge Pullen would give me more child support. Lynn Grogan and her Husband Lee Grogan also suggested that I make up a lie about my children being sexually abused by their father. Stay as far away from these monsters as possible.
