In October 2024, Arlington County informed us that we needed to replace our retaining wall. I contacted 15 different companies, but 10 of them declined the job due to the wall’s height exceeding 36 inches and the need for permits. Four companies provided basic quotes but omitted crucial details like replacing the fence, trees, and grass after the wall was replaced.
