Cashier hassled me about my mini-backpack style purse. When I explained that it is my purse and it’s holding my phone, keys, wallet, medications etc. they asked me to empty it and leave it with them. What? This thing can’t even fit my water bottle. I suggest you get rid of this policy altogether so you’re not putting it on your cashiers to decide at the front door between a backpack and a purse and turn paying customers always. I have shopped her for years off and on because I like some of the products and prices. However I was horrified tonight to see them doing a horrible job with regards to pandemic safety protocols. In fact, they were seemingly disregarding the face mask order almost entirely. There are no plexiglass screens at register and one employee was wearing his mask around his neck while stocking products including produce and then went up to the register and waited on customers without mask on his face.
