Grit and Timber is unreliable, sloppy, they lie and give lip-service to get a build. They cannot be trusted to get a job done on time or stick to a contract. We have built 2 houses prior to this one and have never worked with a builder that is this incompetent and negligent. I would never recommend this builder to anyone. G&T was made aware on at least two separate occasions that their hired subcontractor did substantial damage to my property during a delivery that will cost thousands to repair. Of course we have not been contacted at all regarding the matter.. **Update** - In case others were misled that this issue was resolved by the response below, we have still not heard anything and the curb remains destroyed.
Grit and Timber did an amazing job building my home in Ponderosa. The finishes are absolutely beautiful and the home is well designed and built. Most impressive is their willingness to make sure everything in your home is done right and you are taken care of and happy with your home. I have worked closely with the Superintendent, Andy to get a handful of things fixed, completed or touched up as my warranty is close to expiration. Grit & Timber builds an amazing home! They are fully flexible to help meet your custom home budget and help find ways to make your home be everything you envision. The ability to pick up the phone and give them a call and they always answer is a huge bonus to having them as your builder. Throughout our custom build Max and Andy were on top of the whole process and now our home is complete. We’ve been in the house for about six months, couldn’t be happier with the process and finished product!
