We purchased a Ford Transit van with the GRIT OVERLAND S4 “house” in March 2025 from Johnson RV in Fife, WA. As first-time van owners we have had many questions. The GRIT team has been very responsive each time we have contacted them for support via phone, texts, and emails. We also stopped by the shop in Washougal to have them perform a “once over” while addressing a few updates and basic repairs. Grit Overland were professionals in van upgrades & repairs for a class B built on the Dodge Promaster chassis. Unlike the Van Compass dealer in Bellingham, these folks actually knew what they were doing. Especially when it came to resolving issues caused by a botched lift kit installation by those other guys. So my wife says, “Let’s get a van!” I’m 62 and I immediately think of shag carpet and a surfing mural. “A van? What do you want a van for?” I asked. I love my Grit Overland van!! We got our Grit van a few months ago after looking at many different van options, even rented a storyteller. So far our Grit van has been amazing and taken us on many adventures, and there will be many more to come. Not to mention the Grit team has been very friendly and helpful along the way. Thanks Dan, Jake and team for building awesome vans.
I have had several upgrades on my 2013 Airstream interstate done by Grit Overland. Excellent workmanship and customer service. Do yourself a favor and upgrade your struts to the rally strut by vancompass if you are considering it. You won’t regret it or having it done by Grit Overland
