I can’t express enough gratitude for Dr. David Grischkan and his incredible team. As a 35-year-old in decent shape with a strong naturalistic mindset, I was extremely hesitant about surgery. At my consultation with Dr. Grischkan he had explained what to be expected during and after my surgery. My experience was better than expected. I experienced no real pain, only mild discomfort. I did three 20-30 minute walks on the day of surgery and repeated that for three more days, as directed. I was told this is a key to recovery. I had my surgery on Thursday and was back to work on Monday. I would and have recommended Dr. Grischkan.
He’s the most amazing Dr., I’ve ever seen. My surgery, although complicated, went off perfectly. I followed his instructions, and never even to a Motrin for pain. What a genius!
Dr. Grischkan was very thorough in his communications from beginning to end. He is a great surgeon and I felt well taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone needed hernia surgery.
I unequivocally recommend Dr. David Grischkan and the Hernia Center of Ohio. I can’t stress enough the benefits of their Shouldice, non-mesh repair method. I had a severe umbilical hernia for over 15 years! After doing my research for a non invasive hernia surgery, I chose Dr. David Grischkan. Dr. Grischkan performed a Shouldice repair with miniscule amount of mesh for my "cantalope" size hernia. I have had minimal pain and excellent results and would highly recommend Dr. Grischkan for difficult hernia cases.
Highly recommend Dr. Grischkan. Very experienced and explained well. Surgery recovery was very fast.
I had an inguinal hernia. Was very concerned about the repair process as I enjoy being very active. Came across the Shouldice Method of repair and Dr. Grischkan.
