I am a shop foreman at a independent shop here in Dallas. We recently bought an engine from Grimes a complete drop in. We put the engine in and a piston melted within 250 miles. Grimes tried to blame us saying it was something we did with the injectors. We used the DI injectors and high pressure fuel pump their engine came with. It was a straight drop in. I Needed a radiator clutch fanfor my 2021 Chevy Colorado I was told it would be on the truck that day and I would be able to pick it up the next morning . I drove an hour and a half. They had already received the payment the day before and the part was not there and they were not sure when they were going to get it. It was on a Hold.
