I donated about 900+mls of plasma at Grifols yesterday. It was my first time donating and it was a very smooth experience from the registration process to physical examination and the procedure itself. The procedure and side effects were explained to me and I was made to feel comfortable. The staff checked on me multiple times throughout my procedure and the post- donation instructions were clearly explained to me.
Stopped coming here due a lady inserting a needle incorrectly which caused me so much pain and wasn't HEARING my concerns when she would check up on me. I got somebody else's attention and they finally did something, they took the needle out and tried it on my left arm but it's my weakest so not much came of it. I was left with a huge bruise for weeks and pain for a few days. This place isn't as good as you think it is. No surprise they killed someone by their lack of attention and skills
I had a great experience at this Grifols location. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and appreciated. The staff is incredibly welcoming and professional, which really helps put you at ease during the donation process
A young woman, 22, died after giving plasma here. Her heart stopped while donating. See CBC news. Too dangerous. Lawsuit time. The ones giving 4 stars are staff at Grifols. Wake up to reality: 2 people died here. Now MB Health may shut Grifols down.
Have donated here multiples times and all of my visits are very satisfactory with no issues. All staff are very friendly and helpful. When I donate, I feel taken care of very well from start to finish. The attentiveness, professionalism and care is the reason why I would definitely come to donate more in the future.
