I had purchased some carpet and after my installer cut 2 rooms, discovered that the roll had a large triangular tear on the edge of the remaining piece due to being hit by the forklift pole. I had to spend 1.5 hour of my time, my job had to sit on hold, and I paid gas in my vehicle to make the return. The CEO of the company treated me, the customer, terribly and was unwilling to compensate my losses for their mistake with an extra couple feet of carpet totaling $31.
