Maternity ward is the scariest..Especially the nurse ‘Erin’ was rude and racissist…Please don’t go there if you need a good experience with your pregnancy, go to Wagga Wagga…We raised complaints about the treatment but haven’t received any upadates..
Recently attended outpatients dept for the eye clinic. My appointment was 1.20pm, was finally seen at 4.45pm and others had been there longer. I understand the wait is in some sense unavoidable but the waiting room chairs are crippling. Specially for elderly or disabled who made up most of the patients. The TV is too low on the wall...only the first and maybe second rows of chairs could see it. A small consideration but when you wait that long a bit of distraction is welcome. Helpful staff. Friendly doctors
For my 449k readers... Griffith now have a NEW hospital. It's lovely to look an and looks by far better than the old one. The downsides are we lack the specialists, doctors and nurses to fully utilise the hospital not to mention we also lack many key pieces of medical equipment in order to operate as a full functional hospital. Chances are if you really are sick or injured you will still be sent to Wagga Wagga for better care. We also lack a helipad so don't expect express transport.
The service was absolutely terrible, especially the food. I will never come to this hospital again.
