I had the same issue as others are saying about their firewood. Not seasoned properly. Tried to burn in my fireplace and it was wet, hissing, and wouldn’t light properly. Won’t be buying again. What a scam.
One of their drivers rear ended me and busted up my car. NO INTEGRITY!!! They refuse to cooperate and they are nasty people.
No idea how their business is but this comment is about their bundles of firewood sold at gas stations.. I see they sell bundles of firewood at pretty much all gas stations around westchester. I probably bought 10 bundles or so through the years and the wood is always always wet. Our property is not fenced from deer. We specifically asked Griffins in the process of landscaping our property to take into account this fact. They disregarded our request and planted $15,000 worth of plantings the majority of which were eaten by deer in 2 months. Griffins refused to accept responsibility and we had to spend additional funds with a quality landscape company to redo the job. My recommendation is to look elsewhere. They do not stand behind their work and are not responsive to issues.
Wet unseasoned firewood. I can only imagine that if their wood is like this they are probably not great on the landscaping side of things either.
