Very clean.washrooms were pristine. Wonderful kind staff. Treated my son and I very well. We did wait 3 hours till we got a room but we were told when we came into the emergency that it would be a bit a of wait becasue there was only one doctor and they were short a nurse. They are efficient they dont waste your time. The Doctor was so kind and listened and the nurses were so quick once we had a room. Thank you so much for all you do!!!
Absolutely unacceptable. I waited over 5 hours after a 10hr work day and still never saw a doctor. At this rate, I’ll be discharged just in time to go back to work. This hospital is constantly asking the community for donations, yet patients are left sitting for hours wondering if they’ll ever be seen. How is it possible to have wait times like this? My elderly Mother was transferred from Owen Sound hospital to South Hampton. The most unfriendly nursing staff we ever experienced. Went daily to visit my Mom, and never once heard a hello, or seen a smile. To be able to contact Mother by phone was impossible, they gave me an extension number for her room, but the phone in her room never rang, instead I had to be transferred from the nursing station to a portable phone that they took to her, not sure what that was all about but was ridiculous.
