UNACCEPTABLE! My doctors never received my chest X-ray results from Greig Associates at Oakridge. I had the X-rays done Saturday, and they were supposed to be sent within 3 business days — by Wednesday or Thursday. A week later, nothing was sent. When I called, the receptionist falsely claimed the results were already sent. They were only forwarded after my doctor requested them, arriving Friday, too late for my doctor to review before the weekend. Very disorganized clinic. I missed an appointment in June because I couldn't reach them by phone to cancel, and was later billed for it. After finally getting through, the bill was canceled and my bone densitometry was rebooked for Sept 11, confirmed via text. When I tried to cancel it again due to work, all the attendants claimed I had no booking—even though I had just received a confirmation message. Staff were impatient and unhelpful. I won't be returning.
The technician was nice and helpful, and I really appreciated it. However, the Caucasian woman receptionist was rude. She assumed I had poor English. I guess it was because of my ethnicity. She asked for my information, and then immediately trying to take all the documents from my hand without waiting for my response. I felt disrespected. But when another Caucasian person came to the reception, she greeted with 'Hi,' 'please,' and 'thank you,' with a smile. Can I say that this is discrimination and racism?
