In September of 2023 I fell off of my patio roof fifteen feet onto cement. I broke my L3 and L4 and was rushed to Holmes Regional Medical Center in my hometown of Melbourne, Florida. I recently had spine surgery performed by Dr. Basil. He, and his team, were EXCELLENT. He was the third Neurosurgeon I confered with on my condition and was definitely the best of the three. He was informative and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed. He spoke in terms anyone could understand and we spoke multiple times prior to my surgery (including the Sunday night before my surgery) and multiple times after.
