Dr Thompson has the best bedside manner. He has been thorough and compassionate. I was surprised when he called me back to discuss a medication instead of having his staff call. He truly wants what is best for his patients. During a time of uncertainty for my husband, he made us feel hopeful and cared for. He is truly wonderful!
I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Thompson and the entire St. Joe's Penn Med Neurosurgeon Group. They are on time, very personable, take the time to answer every single question and give sound advice. I had spinal fusion surgery and this is the man to go to. I am so incredibly fortunate to have found him and his staff! Thank you for all you do!!

I wish I could say something positive about Dr. Thompson. I honestly do. My father had an emergency back surgery performed by Dr. Thompson 2/27/2021 at Penn State Health St. Joseph’s Hospital. Due to COVID-19, the visitation policies are understandably strict. Obviously, as a result, families are not able to be present at the facility during surgery to receive any updates or information as to how it went.
