I was hit by a pickup truck that was backing up while I was walking in a parking structure. His bumper hit my left knee and tore my patellar tendon completely from my kneecap. 6 days later, Dr. Nowinski operated on my knee, reattaching the tendon to the kneecap. I was wondering if I would walk normally again in the future. This type of injury is very painful and takes a good 4-6 months to be walking somewhat normally.
