I am a 5-CABG heart surgery survivor performed by Dr. Matter way back in July 2014. My family came as a 3-pack over a few years. First was my father combat Marine became long time Pastor and I believe he had a quadruple bypass. Following him came Mom who had a double bypass and had to go back to have it again. Dr. Matter is a magnificent Surgeon. When you find out that you need heart surgery, many things run through your mind. I was sent to TMC from Sherman hospital ER as I was having a heart attack. I got there sometime afternoon on Thursday May 1st. Dr Matter came to my room about 11:30 pm to meet and talk with me. I must say from my 1st mtg/introduction with him I was totally impressed. I knew I was in for a triple bypass surgery.
