Dr. Matter is a magnificent Surgeon. When you find out that you need heart surgery, many things run through your mind. I was sent to TMC from Sherman hospital ER as I was having a heart attack. I got there sometime afternoon on Thursday May 1st. Dr Matter came to my room about 11:30 pm to meet and talk with me. I must say from my 1st mtg/introduction with him I was totally impressed. I knew I was in for a triple bypass surgery. And yes I was a little nervous about the whole thing, as my father and brother both went thru the same thing years ago. Doctor Gregory Matter "My Hero For Life, Great Heart Surgeon"
I would recommend Dr. Matter to anyone contemplating open heart surgery. He is beyond an excellent surgery—not only is he a phenomenal surgeon but he is kind, compassionate and is available not only in the hospital but afterwards as well. My husband had surgery in February and was released from the hospital only three days after the procedure. I would also recommend Dr. Dev Jaiswal because he determined the need for further testing even though my husband’s stress test and EKG were normal. Thank you both so very much!!
I had the experience of meeting Dr Matters when I had to have a triple bypass. This Dr was a GOD send to take care of me. He is very efficient, personable and loves what he does to help people. I highly recommend him if you ever find yourself in need of a cardiologist
