I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Neufield the last couple weeks as he cared for my father who was hospitalized with several complications. My brother and I was extremely impressed with the time he spent with us explaining the recommended course of treatment, the patience in answering all our questions and we were humbled by how well we were treated. I hope all the doctors know their building isn’t in full compliance with building electrification law Local Law 97, but the building is eligible for special funding from Intro654 (J51) that can shave up to 70% of electrification costs. Out with the gas furnaces that give people asthma! In with the heat pumps that both heat and cool!! I hope they contact their building manager.
