Evaluated my son last year for a tongue tie (for a second opinion). Said it wasn’t serious enough to need revision. My son is now 14 months old and has been recently diagnosed with a severe tongue tie that has not only impacted his ability to handle solid foods, but also has affected his fine/gross motor development putting him months behind in milestones. Zero stars if I could. Go outside of Carilion for this if you can.
Tried for a week to get an appointment to reset a broken nose, still haven’t gotten it scheduled. They won’t schedule without a chart being set up, and won’t set up a chart without a referral. Referral paperwork was lost (even though it was faxed 3 times and emailed once), and I got bounced around a dozen different employees. Dr. Zachman is professional and Courteous. He preformed my Sinus balloon plasty for me since I have extreme sinusitis and let me tell you this had been a life changing and game changer for me. If you have sever sinus issues and need something done that is less invasive and your not down for a long time snd quick recovery. I highly recommend this procedure and Dr. Zachman is the one to do it.
I rarely give reviews online, but I wanted to make sure I took the time to write this particular one. I was diagnosed in 2016 with multiple polyps which had blocked my frontal sinuses and completely blocked my nostrils resulting in a total loss of smell and taste along with a chronically runny nose. My primary care doctor initially insisted the issue was enlarged turbinates from allergies.
