Family member went to this doctor for a second opinion for a medical issue. This doctor said he had no idea what the cause of the swelling and pain was but if it got worse to return to see him in the future. It's been 6 months since the onset. How is this a medical professional providing professional medical care and why would I go back to a medical doctor who does not explore/do whatever necessary through x-rays, etc. to learn what is causing this - it could be serious. My husband had what the ER doctor was a life threatening emergency. We were lucky enough that Dr. Strothman was on call and already in the building. He spoke frankly and directly about what needed to be done and my husband walked out of the hospital five days later. We’re very thankful for his honesty and the care he provided.
Surgery went well. I slept through all of it , so it went great! He was kind and kept my husband updated. Really appreciate him for taking care of me.
If you’re unlucky enough to need surgery, do yourself a favor and talk to Dr. Gregory Strothman. He is compassionate, communicative, straightforward. He doesn’t sugarcoat things - he wants to make sure you understand everything you need to. But he also listens carefully and empathizes with the recovery process. His office staff is amazing, especially Markeesha. Our city is lucky to have such a qualified doctor and amazing human person performing this most sensitive of medical work.
