Dr. Maniatis is a compassionate skilled heart surgeon. He takes all the time needed to alleviate your fears. He is also skillful in choosing he's staff. Blerta, a nurse practitioner does many of the follow-ups. She's very professional and absolutely a delight. I would like to thank her for her care. All the staff needs praise, they go above and beyond to insure you understand any instructions. Thank all of you for being so terrific!
He saved my life in 2023 when I suffered heart attack and perfomed emergency surgery.
Find a new doctor. 80% blocked and didn’t know about it for two years. He just said that everything was fine and my family member almost died from a widow maker 90% blocked because we took him to NYU hospital and they worked on him right away to find out what’s wrong SIUH kept saying nothing was wrong pumping him up with all kinds of pain meds and muscle relaxers then discharging him 3 times ! meanwhile he had all signs of right before having a heart attack! NYU saved his life . He wouldn’t be here right now .
