Do not use this doctors office they are very incompetent. They called me 3 weeks ago to schedule a colonoscopy and I just showed up to the hospital and the doctors office never got confirmation through my insurance and never notified me. After doing the prep and not eating the day before I was told my procedure would not be done. Tried to contact the doctors office and no one would answer save your self the trouble and use a different physician
HORRIBLE nurses. I went to Dr. Merritt out of referral from the ER. I have multiple things wrong and they thought he would be the best Dr. For me. At first he was great, although his nurses were rude, I was willing to give him a chance. But he didn't help me control my pain until my procedure. He told me that I needed to see my primary. Well my primary told me to see him. Then Dr. Merritt told me to go to the ER if it gets too bad....... wasn't that what I came to him for in the first place? Please listen and save yourself from this place! Do NOT go here! It's the most unprofessional place in all 30 years of my illness that I've witnessed first hand. The lack there of for value in privacy is zero. They will share your info illegally as they take things to a personal level when it's supposed to be professional, so going back to how unprofessional this place is. My lawyer has a strong suit to say the least.. Also please know they have no compassion or heart. You're just another number here.
