I saw Dr Polzin with all 4 of my pregnancies. My body does not do pregnancy/delivery well. He saw me thru all the complications, including a high risk advanced maternal age pregnancy , with safe deliveries and healthy babies. We were very happy with him as a Doctor!
My favorite doctor from the Iowa Clinic. He addresses you by name and takes the time to ensure he is considering all of your concerns. Very friendly and personable. Wish I could guarantee that he would be the doctor to deliver my baby.
Caused traumatic damage using forceps to deliver my son with no pain relief. This resulted in a very prolonged healing for me and extended hospital stay for my son. In the years since, saying he ruined my life is not an exaggeration. The delivery was so traumatic it triggered an autoimmune disease which has caused me constant pain ever since. Luckily my son had no lasting side effects from the delivery.
I saw Dr. Polzin for my pregnancy with my twins. He was a great provider. Although he was unfortunately not the one that performed my delivery, I had a good experience with him at every appointment. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Polzin or the Iowa Clinic for OB care.
