Dr. Greer is a very sweet and pleasant lady. She never once interrupted me when I was telling her (and babbling on) about my daughter’s issues. She listened attentively and was very patient with my daughter. She was very understanding and nurturing. I found out that she was previously a doctor for developmental testing at MUSC, so basically the evaluation runs parallel to their level of testing. I can’t recommend her enough.
She was patient and kind when evaluating my son. We were 30 minutes early (after a 2 hour drive to see her) but she took us right away. My son was reluctant to be evaluated without me so she allowed me to be present. She didn’t allow my son to be silly during his evaluation but was also patient with his reluctance to participate and his non verbal answers. Saw her over a year ago for an autism eval of my 2-year-old. The eval had to take a pause when my daughter got hangry and needed a snack to recuperate. She was very understanding through this and gave a thorough eval, also made herself available for questions at follow-up. As an added bonus, she provided help with insurance reimbursement. (Even though she was "out of network" for our insurance, my insurance company covered some of the evaluation charge - possibly due to a shortage of autism evaluators in the area.)
