Highly recommend making a reservation. Very crowded on weekends and the police have several of the entrances closed due to lots being full. The rental experience was average - very spacious area to paddle around. The water definitely has a noticeable smell compared to other lakes.
A Stand-Up Paddleboard lesson with Chaz at Monksville Reservoir was taken. Despite the heavy rain, the experience was excellent, and the reservoir provided a beautiful and tranquil setting for the activity. There are 2 porta potties that need cleaning.

Love this place.
Very accommodating. We arrive a bit later than our booked time and they were able to switch us to the next 30 min slot so we don’t lose our full hour. Place was easy to find and we got parking , great time !
